The Tuesday House group
Recently we have switched from the second Tuesday of each month to the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings are mostly held at the home of one of our members- this is in rotation as is possible and convenient.
A usual evening includes fellowship, study, and discussion of a topic using bible texts or study guides. Maters of relevance are linked with issues of the moment in the media including the Methodist Recorder with refreshments being served. Special evenings have included a visit from one of the Reverends, sometimes with Communion.
At Christmas, we celebrated a party at Bowdon Vale Methodist Church. This worked very well.
We have social evenings, which usually involve a walk. In addition, we devote occasional sessions to attending to the garden at AMC.
